SONIC CHARGE DASH FULL
When she is at full speed just jump, it’s faster. You can use her Piko-Piko Hammer to make her jump in the air to go higher. Running: Amy has a few more tricks up her sleeve when she is at full speed (She is not faster than Sonic). Shovel Claw: Please see the Upgrades section. Rhythm Badge: Please see the Upgrades section. Jet Anklet: Please see the Upgrades section. It’s fast, it can send you places, and you will be using it to do the majority of tasks.

He uses his tails to thrust himself forward.įlying: This is what you should be using. Ring Dash (Light Speed Shoes): Please see the Upgrades section.Ĭrystal Ring: Please see the Upgrades section.Īncient Light: Please see the Upgrades section. However If you press X in mid-jump you will lose all speed and fall. There is another part to the Spin Dash, but we will cover this in the Upgrades section. If you keep spamming this you can break the limit for the speed you are travelling, but this means the camera will need to catch up, and losing control is pretty easy. This move can be exploited to good effect. Spin Dash: The Spin Dash can be used to give an extra boost of speed, as well as pushing you forward a little bit in the direction you are aiming. There is a limit for how fast you can go. The more you run, the more speed, well kinda. Running: Sonic can run pretty fast in this game. You can hold down the shoot button to target multiple enemies and then let the shoot button go to hit more enemies and earn more time.īig the Cat’s levels are fishing mini-games hunting for ‘Froggy’. It’s fairly easy and these shouldn't take too long at all.Īmy’s levels involve you racing to a balloon with as low a time as possible.Į-102 Gamma’s levels are shooting. You basically just fly about to beat Sonic and Eggman and exploiting different paths along the way. Tails' levels are, in my opinion, the most fun in the game. Sometimes it will include a little puzzle solving but generally this just tends to be some creative running. We finally have rolling physics and the spindash in, for goodness sake, can't people be happy enough for that alone? Oh, the human ’s levels are mostly running. It'd be better if holding the action button charged for the super peelout, trading ease for defense, but in the end it's an accessibility thing for people who like to go really fast, without the addition of a boost. Otherwise, you'd need to jump and hinder your progress or wait for Sonic to uncurl after a certain point in time and lose his momentum before you can spindash again.

Still don't think it's gonna be abusable or a problem though.Īt this point, it'll only be an "issue" if you can spindash while you're rolling, because then it'd be more abusable. It also seems like (not confirmed) you can uncurl by pressing the button again while rolling, thus allowign you to do one spindash after another. Sonic goes from wheel-o-feet to spindash instantly. The extended gameplay footage shows this.

I get the feeling as if the developers don't know better than overpowering sonic as if being overpowered in a game is a good thing. I am going to be honest that I dislike the m.sonic portions for it being the same old overpowered boost to win gameplay where they will probably compensate with botomless pits again. I don't know how it's gonna work exactly, all I know is that he activates a spindash while running while it deactivates in a way too. This kind of makes it overpowered, and since there's no gauge like m.sonic's boost, shouldn't that make it a bit too overpowered?. You cannot only activate the spindash whenever you want(if that is really the case, but let's assume it is), you can also hit as many enemies in a row like the classics. The spindash was easy to activate this time, but to compensate it, hitting an enemy would bring you into a complete halt. In the adventure series, in a 3d environment the spindash done by a button was a pretty logical step. The only way to keep your roll for long was by going down hills. As the spindash was in the classics, spamming it was almost impossible cuz you had to stand still to spindash. I'm a big supporter of well balanced game design.
